Lead Lighting TD. Lighting for full CG feature film. Responsible for character and environment lighting on feature, "Over The Hedge".
2001-2004 Warner Bros. Feature Animation, Sherman Oaks, CA
Lead Lighting TD. Supervised character look development working with Art Director, lead and managed lighting team, setup and maintained lighting job structure, development of tools and lighting techniques on “Scooby Doo”, live action film with CG characters. Lighting TD on “Looney Tunes: Back In Action”, Lighting and Particle TD on “Riddick”, “SpongeBob” features.
1999-2001 Pixar Animation Studios, Emeryville, CA
Lighting TD, Layout Artist. Lighting for CG feature film and short film projects. Lighting on short projects included some modeling and shading. Layout Artist, worked with Director and DP to compose shots, staging, camera movements, to tell the story in the best and creative ways possible. Feature Film works: “Toy Story 2”(lighting), “Monsters Inc”(layout/lighting). Short Film works: “For The Birds” (lighting).
1995-1999 Rhythm & Hues Studios, Los Angeles, CA
Lead TD, Lighter, Compositer, and Modeler. Job consisted of management of team, software and hardware resources, technical problem solving with proprietary and commercial software, setup of job structure, scripts and file setup, technical liaison to Producer and Art Director. Lighting and Compositing consisted of texture mapping objects, characters, and scenery, environment lighting, matching live action plates, rotoscoping/tracking, morphing, and 2d composite work. Modeled objects and characters for various jobs. Feature film works: “Kazaam”, “Soldier”, “Entropy”, sequence supervisor/lighter on “MouseHunt”, and lighter on “Babe2”. Commercial jobs include: “MeowMix”, “Cheetos”, “Twizzlers”, “Bjork”, and “Barbie”.
